It is the policy of the Lenape Valley Board of Education that students are to ride on the school provided transportation when traveling to and from away events. In every instance where there is an exception, the student will be released only to his/her parent(s) and/or legal guardian(s) by the coach. Such release will be accomplished in person. It is the responsibility of the student and parent(s) and/or legal guardian(s) to have personal contact with the coach when the release occurs.

Parents/Guardians will be required to complete an electronic release form prior to the coach releasing the student. Coaches will have a QR code that the parents will be able to scan with their cellphone to access and complete the electronic form.

Paper forms and prior authorization by school adminstration are no longer utilized.
